Ribbon Pin Colors and Text
- Ribbon Color
Send us your campaign’s color reference or Pantone code for matching. The finished enamel may look different from the color on your screen.
- One or Two Colors
Most ribbon pins use one color. You can also combine two colors, with a metal line separating the enamel areas.
- Text and Size
A short name or date fits more easily on a ribbon. If the text is too small to read, we can make the pin larger or put the longer wording on a backing card.
Ribbon Pin Types
Soft Enamel
The metal outline stays raised around the ribbon’s enamel color. You’ll feel those edges when you run your finger over the pin.
Hard Enamel
For a smooth ribbon pin, we can fill the color areas and polish them level with the metal. You still see the outline, but it doesn’t stand above the enamel.
Customization Options
1" is a common size for ribbon pins. We can also make other sizes or a custom shape based on your design.
Gold, silver, rose gold, and black nickel are available, along with antique finishes. The plating is the metal color you’ll see around the enamel.
Choose a butterfly clutch, rubber clutch, safety pin, or magnet. A magnet holds the pin without piercing the fabric. For a long ribbon design, we’ll check the post position to help it sit straight.
Each pin comes in an individual polybag. You can add a printed backing card for event handouts or a box for gifts. Let us know your packaging choice when requesting a quote.

Send us your design, size, quantity, country, and event date. We’ll review your requirements and send you a quote.
2. Confirm Your Order
Check the price and order details, including the colors, finish, backing, and packaging. We’ll prepare the artwork once the order is confirmed.
3. Approve for Production
Review the artwork and let us know if anything needs changing. After your approval and payment confirmation, we’ll arrange production and shipment.

Can I Order The Same Ribbon In Different Colors?
Yes. Different color versions can share the same mold, with a minimum of 50 pieces per color.
Can I Change The Campaign Date Without Making A New Mold?
Yes. We can laser-engrave the year on the back instead of including it in the mold. You can then update the year for repeat orders without a new mold.
How Can I Keep The Ribbon Pin From Turning?
For ribbon pins larger than 1.5″, we recommend two posts to help keep the pin from turning.
